Compulingo Terms of Use

Last updated 10 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Compulingo, our app for learning about computers, coding and AI, on the web or in the mobile apps. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. We have tried to keep them short and clear.

1. Who we are

Compulingo is made by Digiforq, a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands: KVK 42054097, VAT NL005459410B54, Boermastraat 4, 9641 GC Veendam. Contact: [email protected].

2. What Compulingo offers

We keep improving the app, so courses, games and features can change. We will not remove a paid feature you rely on without telling you first.

3. Your account

4. Pro subscription and payment

PlanPrice (web, incl. VAT)
Pro monthly€7.99 per month
Pro yearly€69.99 per year

5. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU)

You have 14 days from the start of a paid subscription on the web to withdraw without giving a reason. Pro starts right away at your request, so if you withdraw we refund what you paid minus a fair amount for the days you already used. To withdraw, e-mail [email protected]. Purchases in the app stores follow the store's refund rules.

6. Gems, XP and other in-app items

XP, gems, hearts, streaks, badges and shop items are part of the game. They have no money value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred, and are not your property. We may adjust balances to fix mistakes or misuse, and daily limits apply to how many gems can be earned.

7. Fair use

Please do not:

If someone breaks these rules we may remove points, hide them from leaderboards, or suspend or close the account. Where reasonable, we warn first.

8. Our content

The lessons, characters (such as Byte and Bugsy), pictures, voices, games and code of Compulingo belong to Digiforq or its licensors. You may use them for your own learning. Teachers may show Compulingo in class. Please do not copy, sell or republish our content without written permission. Code you write in the playground or projects remains yours.

9. The AI support chat

The chat helper answers questions about Compulingo using AI. Its answers can be incomplete or wrong; when something matters (for example a payment), check with us by e-mail. How chat messages are handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Availability

We do our best to keep Compulingo running, but we cannot promise it is always available or free of errors. We may need to pause it for maintenance or updates.

11. Liability

Compulingo is a learning app; use what you learn with care. If we are liable to you, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event, except where the damage is caused by our intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow a limit. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law.

12. Privacy

How we use personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the app changes. For important changes we inform you in the app or by e-mail at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree, you can stop using Compulingo and cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

14. Law and disputes

Dutch law applies. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country. Please contact us first; we try to solve every complaint within 14 days. If we cannot agree, the competent court in the Netherlands decides, or, if you are a consumer, the court of your place of residence.
